🌍 Sunrise Learning Foundation Represented Globally at ICAN Autism Connect Conference 2026, Canada
Sunrise Learning Foundation proudly marked a significant milestone as our Founder, Dr. Sonali Kataria, represented the organization at the prestigious ICAN Autism Connect Conference held in Canada on 2nd–3rd April 2026.
For the fourth consecutive time, Dr. Sonali Kataria — Autism Specialist, Fellow in Pediatrics, and a mother to an autistic young adult — was invited as a speaker at this international platform. Her presentation, titled “From Potential to Performance: Maximizing Productivity & Inclusion for Autistic Individuals in Real-Life Contexts,” highlighted the importance of understanding neurodiversity and creating inclusive environments where autistic individuals can truly thrive.
This proud moment reflects the collective journey of Sunrise Learning Foundation — the experiences of 600+ autistic learners, the commitment of 95 dedicated team members, and the trust and support of countless families who have been part of this mission over the years.
A deeply inspiring part of the conference was Dr. Sonali’s interaction with renowned autism advocate Temple Grandin, along with meaningful discussions around inclusion, communication, and real-life support systems for autistic individuals across the world.
Another special highlight was the global appreciation received for the handmade jute keyrings created by our young adults from the Creative Production Unit. These creations were gifted to international delegates and speakers, beautifully showcasing the talents, creativity, and potential of autistic individuals on a global platform.
Sunrise Learning Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to Dolly Thakkar and the entire ICAN Autism Connect team for this opportunity and continued trust.
This achievement belongs to every child, parent, educator, therapist, and team member who continues to believe in the vision of inclusion, dignity, and empowerment for autistic individuals.
🌟 Autism does not reduce potential. Uninformed environments do. 🌟
